Western Tapestry/Upholstry

Western tapestry is used for upholstery, home décor and clothing, and is a cotton/polyester blend, which is 58” wide. Western tapestry is a heavier weight home décor fabric. You will find our western tapestries in our Lynn Brown Pillow Kits. Western tapestry has been used for duvet covers, quilts, vest, jackets, pillows, table runners, sofas, chairs, bar stools and benches.

Western Vinyl Upholstery

Western vinyl has a felt backing and is 54” wide. Western vinyl works well for table runners, placemats, valences, stools, bench covers and pillows. Western vinyl can be washed with soap and water.

Basic Sewing Supplies (BSS)

Please carefully review your supply list for each class and bring all of the requested items:

Sewing machine (in good working order), rotary cutter, cutting mat, rulers, thread, fabric, extra bobbins, sewing machine needles, pins, scissors, and notebook paper, pattern for class, plus any special items noted on the supply list.

If you have questions about the class or supply list, please ask! Prewash all fabrics and press them unless the supply list instructs otherwise.

Class Policies: PLEASE READ

• Pre-registration is required for all classes. Payment is required at time of registration. You may use cash, check, or credit card. Registration by phone requires credit card payment.
• At the time of class registration, you will receive a 10% discount card good for supplies and materials for that class and/or anything else you desire from the store. This is a one-time shopping spree good for everything in the shop except consignment items and class fees.
• For any class that student cancels, (within 48 hrs. notice) student will receive a credit with the identical amount as class fee paid. No credit will be given without a 48-hour notice because our teachers have been paid. If Prairie Girls cancels a class, student may take an in-store credit or request a full refund.
• If you cannot attend the class, you may send someone in your place. Please let us know of the substitution.
• Make sure that your sewing machine is in good working order. Class instructors cannot repair or fix your machines, nor do they have the time to do so during scheduled class time.
• If you have reserved one of our classroom sewing machines, please come in before your class to get a quick lesson on its use. Help our teachers run a smooth and timely class.
• Please note that all classes will start on time. Be here and ready 5 minutes prior to class time.
• When classes last an entire day, we have allotted a ½ hour lunch. You can bring your own, order in, or go out. We have a small refrigerator and a microwave.
• Please bring all supplies as required on supply list to each class. Thank you for your cooperation.
• Please remember to turn off your cell phone before class starts!

Your material and patterns look just great. I have been searching for just the right material to make some new pillows and curtains, and you guys have such lovely patterned material.  I am looking forward to getting my first shipment from you, and have put you at the top of my toolbar under the heading of western fabrics, so I will be able to find you again under my favorite web sites.  We are adding on to our barn and building an office, so I am sure you will be hearing from me again.

P.S. I love the retro cowgirl prints (being an old cowgirl myself, I like the retro western material, which is very hard to find around here).  Looks like you have a new customer for life!

Just wanted to say a BIG "Thank you" and tell you how much I enjoyed your website and your service.

I found your info while searching the Moda website, looking for Cowgirl fabric to complete a quilt I'm planning. When I saw your patterns listed, I knew I had to check out the website. Am I glad I did!!! (Of course, I don't think the kids and the husband were all that thrilled - I spent almost 2 hours browsing!!) Of course, like other fabric-aholics, I bought more than I needed - but then I've got leftovers for other accessories!
