Western Denim & Designs - Designs by Tana

Posted by Office on 5/8/2015 to Quilting
I am excited to introduce a new company to our customers, Designs by Tana. Tana is the art designer behind Western Denim & Dirt, and has coordinated with Blank Quilting, to create several new collections. Current collections that are in stores now, or shipping now are: “Western Album Collection“, “Spooktacular Halloween” and “Ya’ll Be Merry Christmas.”

Tana has also developed a coloring method using hot blend techniques. Being from Crowley, Texas, many of her patterns have a western flare. Her crayon artwork designs can be used for quilts, wall hangings, table runner, bags & pillows. Hand embroidery can be incorporated with the color artwork. Some of Tana”s western artwork patterns currently coordinate with her “Western Album” fabrics. Tana also has workbooks featuring a “Snowman Collection,” “Birdhouse Collection” and her “Basic Coloring Hot Blend Techniques.”

Tana has been coloring all her life. After 20 years in law enforcement, in 2005, she decided it was time for a change. In 2005 she began “Designs by Tana,” to share her love of quilting and color crayon artwork. Along with her design work, Tana operates a retail store, “Quiltin’ N Texas” in Crowley, Texas. Two years ago she expanded the business and went online. For more information on Designs by Tana, go to her website:
